What is Heart Starts Pounding?

Heart Starts Pounding is a new media company founded by Kaelyn Moore. The flagship Heart Starts Pounding: Horrors, Hauntings and Mysteries podcast has been running since 2022 and posts new episodes every Wednesday. Heart Starts Pounding also includes the HSP TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube accounts that primarily feature short form content. HSP has also produced long form original content including the horror audio drama, The Timekeeper.

Who is Kaelyn Moore?

Kaelyn is the founder of Heart Starts Pounding and the creator and host of the HSP podcast. She started her career in the entertainment industry, working in development at James Wan’s Atomic Monster production company (The Conjuring, Annabelle) before moving to Ace Entertainment where she worked on the reboot of Are You Afraid of the Dark?

What is the Rogue Detecting Society?

Several generations ago in New England there was a group of citizens who came together to keep an eye on their community. They called themselves the Rogue Detecting Society. One of those members was Kaelyn’s great great grandfather, and his work with the group led to the capture of America’s first female serial killer. We consider all listeners and fans of HSP to be members of our own modern day Rogue Detecting Society, headquartered in an ageing Victorian mansion with our friendly ghost Jinx and Gordy, our lightly cursed monkey.
